Gioron was born in Manhattan, New York. At age 5 he began his musical journey on piano. Switching to the guitar at age 12 proved to be a better suited instrument for him. His first experience as a professional musician was at the club scene in NYC. Gioron went on to playing guitar for heavy weight boxing champion Joe Frazier. Shortly after that going on to become the rhythm guitarist for The Isley Brothers was a major high point in his career. Today Gioron is a member of the Recording Academy for the Grammys.  Being a Professional member of the Academy has placed him in the top of all music societies in the world. Over the years GT Wilkins has learned to connect to the heart of people musically. Having performed in Colosseums all over the United States, including Madison Square Garden in New York City before 20,000 people almost every show. He has been writing and composing music for over 50 years, recording his music in his home studio. Playing every instrument on his recordings and producing, arranging, and mixing his own music.
