Gioron was born in Manhattan, New York. At age 5 he began his musical journey on piano. Switching to the guitar at age 12 proved to be a better suited instrument for him. His first experience as a professional musician was at the club scene in NYC. Gioron went on to playing guitar for heavy weight boxing champion Joe Frazier. Shortly after that going on to become the rhythm guitarist for The Isley Brothers was a major high point in his career. Today Gioron is a member of the Recording Academy for the Grammys. Being a Professional member for the Academy has placed him in the top of all music societies in the world. Over the years GT Wilkins has learned to connect to the heart of people musically. Having performed in Colosseums all over the United States, including Madison Square Garden in New York City before 20,000 people almost every show.

He has been writing and composing music for over 50 years, recording his music in his home studio. Playing every instrument on his recordings and producing, arranging, and mixing his own music. As Gioron continues his journey in life becoming an author was not in his sights. Wanting to leave his life experiences along with his faith exploits behind, he decided to leave that knowledge in a book to help others in their life journey. Understanding people and how they react to his music has driven him to connect in a similar way with words in a book. Gioron’s goal in life is to ultimately help people. Whether it be with comforting melodies in his music, or words of wisdom and comfort in a book. Being a man of faith his relationship with God is the most important thing in his life. Understanding life a lot better approaching his 70th birthday, his music and words of wisdom have affected everything he does.
